The Speed menu allows you to change the speed at which grids
and sequences are looped for transmission. The speed is
measured at the PC's internal interrupt rate of 18.2 cycles per second, so the speed you
enter will be in increments of 1/18.2 seconds.
For example, entering a value of 10 will result in a delay between burst transmissions of
10*(1/18.2)= approximately 0.55 seconds.
This is NOT the delay between individual bytes transmitted, merely the delay between successive strings each made up of a block of individual bytes that are transmitted with no delay between bytes. |
