The Comm window allows you to select the COM1 or COM2 serial port, setup the baud rate,
start and stop bits, word length, and parity. This should generally be the first screen
you visit after opening DataBlaster. Even if the status line shows the desired port
settings, other Windows programs or startup routines may have altered the actual settings, so
it is a good idea to individually redo the settings. On some computers, the settings can
be restored by simply opening the Comm window, then pressing ENTER to close it with the
existing settings.
